BMP Classique Golfers Have Net Score of $106,500
This year's 20th edition of the popular BMP Classique Golf Tournament was
played on Wednesday, June 20th under ideal weather conditions at three of our region's top golf
courses...the Cowansville Golf Course, Farnham Golf Club and Le Royal Bromont Golf Club.
Some 300 golfers participated in the event and over 330 supporters enjoyed
"an all you can eat" Lobster and Roast Beef Dinner which followed at the Cowansville
Sports Centre. Diners also had the opportunity to take part in a silent auction.
The initial tally indicates that a minimum of $106,500 was raised as a result of
these activities, all of which is being donated to the BMP Foundation for the purchase of
specialized medical equipment.
Local business leaders, Messrs. Luc Harbec, Pierre Marziali and Mario Petrone
served as co-presidents and had a great deal to do in making this year's event another great
success.
