BMP Classic Registers Record Profits of $132,000
 The Organizing Committee of the 21st edition of the BMP Classic Golf Tournament is
delighted to announce net proceeds of $132,000 for this year's tournament. This event, one of the
most successful in Foundation history, was again played simultaneously on three of the region's
top courses ... the Farnham Golf Club, the Cowansville Golf Club and the Royal Bromont Golf Club on
Wednesday, June 18th, 2008. More than 360 golfers participated and 400 plus supporters enjoyed an
"all you can eat" Lobster and Roast Beef Dinner which followed at the
Cowansville Sports Centre. Fortunately, the rather wet and stormy weather forecasts for the day
proved to be inaccurate as only modest and short lived showers occurred.
The Foundation wishes to thank those of you who contributed to the great success
of this year's Classic. Included in this group are our Honorary Co-Presidents, Mr. Robin Bernard of
Assurances Unicour, Mr. Stéphane Benjamin of Caisses Populaires Desjardins and Mr. Mario
Petrone of Petrone Architects along with our numerous sponsors, committee members, volunteers and
participants.
Next year, the 22nd running of the Classic will take place on Wednesday, June
17th , 2009. We hope you will plan to participate in this most enjoyable outing and will also
encourage your family members, friends and associates to join us as well.
