Breast Cancer Walk
Raises $52,000
The seventh Annual Breast Cancer Walk through the scenic streets of Knowlton took
place on Sunday October 5th, 2008. A record turnout of walkers and runners raised $52,000 for the
BMP Foundation's Oncology Fund.
The event was organized by the Yamaska Valley Optimists (a woman's Optimist Club
serving the Brome-Missisquoi area). Total proceeds over recent years now exceed $190,000.
The BMP Foundation is once again pleased to be associated with this event and wish
to thank all of the organizers and participants who made the day such a great success.
