Challenge Raises $7,650
For the second year in a row the weather man was rather
unkind to the Owl's Head Challenge organizers and participants. However, notwithstanding the
inclement conditions, some 125 faithful supporters turned out for the 17th annual running of this
event on March 8th, 2008.
Our skiers found the course and conditions challenging to say the least but, more
importantly, the event raised $7,650 for the BMP Foundation. This significant achievement reflects
the hard work and effort put into the Challenge by the Kormans (proprietors of Owl's Head),
numerous of their staff and the Owl's Head Ski Club to whom we again wish to extend our sincere
thanks and gratitude.
