November 27, 2008, Cowansville : Cowansville Pharmacist Pierre Marziali has been elected by Board members of the BMP Hospital Foundation to serve as the Board's next Chairman, replacing  Mr Paul Meunier.  

Mr.  Marziali, a Bedford resident, has been a Foundation Board member since 2003, and has served as Secretary since 2005. He has also served as an Honorary President of the Classique BMP, the Foundation’s annual golf tournament for several years, and on the Foundations’ Communications Committee. Mr. Meunier, who has served capably since 2001 will continue in the role of  Past President.

Succeeding Pierre as Secretary is Peter Ayles, a retired IBM manager and Knowlton resident. Peter has been a Board Director since 2006 and has had significant involvement with the development and management of the Foundation website and in co-chairing the biennial Velothon.

Mrs. Lyse Lafrance-Charlebois, of Farnham, and Mr. Mario Lagimoniere of Cowansville, will continue to serve in their roles as Vice-Chair and Treasurer respectively.
