Naomie Larose Wins 2008 Scholarship
The BMP Foundation congratulates Ms. Naomie Larose of
Bromont who is the winner of the 2008 BMP Foundation Scholarship. Naomie will graduate in June from
École sécondaire Massey-Vanier in Cowansville and hopes to study Health Sciences next
fall at the CEGEP in Granby. Her ultimate goal is to pursue a career in pediatrics, occupational
therapy or orthophony.
Apart from maintaining a 91% academic average, Naomie has also been active in
several school activities. She is an accomplished pianist and also enjoys writing, performing and
staging various theatrical productions. Within the community she volunteers at the BMP Hospital,
performs occasional piano recitals at local seniors' residences and works part-time at a local
restaurant where she has been recognized as Employee of the Year from amongst over 100 employees.
In addition to Naomie, the Foundation also wishes to congratulate all of the
students that competed for this year's Scholarship and commends each for their impressive
accomplishments to date.
The BMP Scholarship Foundation Program is open to local students who are pursuing
a career in health care. The winner receives a $1,000 scholarship, repeatable each year of his/her
CEGEP program. As well, summer employment within the CSSS La Pommeraie is offered each year of
the program.
