Blitz for BMP Birthing Pavilion
This April, members of the region's local Optimists clubs
once again did their dialing for the BMP Birthing Unit, just as they have for the past twenty
years. That is a lot of phone calls but the results speak for themselves ... indications are that
they are rapidly approaching this year's $35,000 objective which would put them over the $500,000
mark in total donations received over the years.
Most pieces of equipment in the Birthing Unit have been purchased as a result of
this annual fundraiser and we wish to thank the Optimist volunteers who work at it so faithfully.
