The second edition of the Grand Summer Ball of the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation held on July 14 at the Campanile Farm in Dunham raised the amount of $73,000. A big thank you to all!
The Honorary Presidents were our host Mr. André Bourbeau, philanthropist and Mr. Pierre Janecek, mayor of Dunham. For the occasion, the Bourbeau family arena was transformed into a reception hall in the style of The Great Gatsby. The 280 guests were treated to a truly magical evening. Chef Pierre Johnston from the Canard Sauté served a delicious gourmet menu while the orchestra directed by Jean Wiedrick and the singers Hélène Bienvenue and Pascale B delighted the guests and made them dance.
The funds will be dedicated to the upcoming relocation of the Oncology Clinic on the 3rd floor of the BMP Hospital. This reorganization which will be completed early 2018 will provide larger and more ergonomic premises tailored to the needs of the population. It will also provide treatment in a quiet, warm, and relaxing atmosphere.
We wish to thank all our ambassadors, our donors, our partners – especially Le Service Ambulancier Farnham inc., Assante Wealth Management, RBC Royal Bank, RBC Wealth Management, Aéroports de Montréal, Burkman Capital Corporation, LB Avocats Inc., and the Town of Dunham- our sponsors, our extraordinary volunteers, and members of the Organizing Committee.
