Last Saturday was the third edition of the Oktoberfest BMP. The event was sold out with over 450 participants gathered to celebrate an authentic Oktoberfest in the heart of Brome-Missisquoi. Thanks to them and the support of generous partners, this fundraising event raised $42,000. The third edition of the Oktoberfest BMP was held under the honorary co-presidency of Dr. Nathalie Bruneau, Orthopedist at the BMP Hospital and Mr. Simon Campagna, pharmacist-owner of the Brunet pharmacy in Bromont.

A new Orthopedic Clinic

This money will be fully invested in the redevelopment project of the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Orthopedic Clinic. Currently in the basement, it will be relocated to the ground floor in a larger space. The new Clinic will offer more privacy to its patients and easy access to complementary services such as radiography. A project that is close to the heart of its spokesperson: Maxence Parrot. This well-known resident of Bromont has used this service many times for various injuries. Fortunately, it was without a hitch that he recently distinguished himself for his snowboarding exploits at the PyongChang Olympic Winter Games by returning home with a silver medal. Being on the road last weekend, he wanted to participate in the event by donating a snowboard that was never seen before on the market for our auction, which was held during the evening. A huge thank you!
