On Saturday, October 26, the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation was the lucky winner of an award at the Gala of the Brome-Missisquoi Chamber of Commerce. Nominated in the category of Non-Profit Organizations, the BMP Foundation left with the “Coup de Cœur” award!
“When it comes to choosing a Coup de Coeur, it has to be really special. When a destination helps a whole population and, in addition, evolves with it, we can truly say that it meets the needs of its population, of its entire population. How many local destinations can claim to serve an entire community and have a provincial reach? With the commitment of some 100 volunteers and employees to the success of its activities, it is an extraordinary mobilization of an entire region. For all these reasons, the Coup de Cœur goes to the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation.” announced the Brome-Missisquoi Chamber of Commerce during the presentation of the award.
“When they started talking about the recipient of the Coup de Coeur award, we didn’t immediately understand that it was the BMP Foundation. We were really very surprised to hear our name. “explains Mrs. Lola Landes, with a big smile on her face. A nice surprise for the BMP Foundation team, represented by Lola Landes, Executive Director and Francis Laramée, Executive Assistant of the BMP Foundation.
This is a highly significant award for our community and for the many volunteers who are involved in our events and on our Board of Directors. Thank you to all the donors and partners without whom the improvements we are making at the BMP Hospital would not be possible. The BMP Foundation would like to thank all those who contribute directly or indirectly to its success. Thank you!
