The BMP Foundation is proud to make it possible for close to 60 patients at the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital to watch television for free since Wednesday, April 1.
This free service is being made available to acute care inpatients at the hospital, thanks to the BMP Foundation’s collaboration with television provider HealthHub.
“We hope this measure will provide some comfort and promote the well-being of users who find themselves in a position of forced isolation due to the global pandemic,” the BMP Foundation said in a news release.
The free membership is permitted after HealthHub has lowered the monthly subscription fee by 75%, which is now equivalent to $4,500 before taxes,” said Lola Landes, Executive Director of the BMP Foundation, who will assume the cost of the reduced subscription.
It should be noted that, since March 14, hospital visits have been banned in accordance with government recommendations.
