CANCELLED – 32nd BMP Brunch

26 April 2020

Every life matters, every gift is important.

Our traditional brunch was supposed to be held on April 26th, but unfortunately it is cancelled due to the pandemic.

As you know, our Foundation is counting on this essential fundraising activity, which is vital for the nurses’ clerkship, because sickness does not take any breaks. Neither do our caregivers.

That is why we invite you to continue to contribute to our events, whenever possible.

So, even if the brunch is cancelled, you can help… without putting on a pound.

Your donations support the next generation of nurses

By participating in the BMP Brunch, you are contributing to a concrete project.

Each year, the BMP Foundation provides $25,000 in funding for the summer internship program. This 40-day program helps to train and retain the future nursing workforce. It also prepares them to work with clients, thereby improving the quality and continuity of care provided.

For several years now, this program has been a great success. Last year, for example, we had a 100% retention rate of the students that attended the program.

They are now part of the BMP Hospital team and their work is all the more crucial in the current situation.

You will receive a tax receipt for the full amount of your donation.

For guests that already purchased tickets, we would be grateful if you would accept to exchange them for a 100% donation receipt.

This year’s George Bristol Award

It is also during the Brunch that we present the George Bristol Award. This award recognizes the commitment of people who have made a difference for the well-being of the BMP Hospital and Foundation community.

This year, we are pleased to present the 2020 Award to Mrs. Cynthia Clinton of the BMP Hospital Auxiliary Shop where she has been volunteering her time since 1993.

We are very fortunate to have such a dedicated individual like her with us!

Dear Mrs. Clinton, thank you so much for your continued support to the Auxiliaries, the BMP Foundation and your Hospital!
