———————————————————————————— THIS EVENT IS OVER, SEE YOU NEXT YEAR! —————————————————————————————

After a two-year break, the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce the return of its golf tournament! Under a new formula, Together for Health will be held on Wednesday, June 22 at the Farnham Golf Club. Mr. Jean-Michel Ryan, CEO of Mont Sutton, has accepted the honorary presidency of this new edition.

During our tournament, we are looking forward to greeting our golfers as well as our cyclists on the beautiful roads of Brome-Missisquoi. Guided by the instructors of the National Cycling Center of Bromont, the cyclists can choose between a 42-km course and an 82-km course. In the evening, all participants are cordially invited to a cocktail party to allow everyone to network and make new connections.

You can now create your account for the online auction: click here. The auction will start on Monday June 20th at 8:30 am and will end on Wednesday June 22nd at 7:45 pm.

This new format was born out of our desire to support organizations in Brome-Missisquoi that provide complementary health care and services to those of the BMP Hospital. With this in mind, we are pleased to announce that the proceeds from the silent auction to be held during the cocktail reception will be shared between Pleins Rayons and the Maison Gilles-Carle of Brome-Missisquoi. Pleins Rayons plays an essential role in our community by promoting the social inclusion of young adults with intellectual disabilities. The Maison Gilles-Carle Foundation, on the other hand, prevents and relieves the exhaustion of caregivers by offering them quality temporary housing. It is by being Together for health that we will improve health care in Brome-Missisquoi!

Participants will be expected at 10:00 a.m. for a hearty brunch before the launch of the activities at 11:30 a.m. for the cyclists and at 12:00 p.m. for the golfers. For $250, participants can enjoy brunch, a number of activities, and the cocktail party. From 6:00 p.m., guests are invited to join the cocktail party only for $150. Tickets can be purchased online at the Foundation’s website:, at the Foundation’s office directly, or by phone at (450) 266-5548.

A new arm for the Operating Room

The BMP Hospital treats many sports-related injuries in our region. These patients are often treated by surgeon Dr. O’Sullivan. The funds raised at the Together for Health event will supplement the funding for the purchase of a $100,000 Mini C Arm for the operating room. This mobile medical imaging device will reduce delays during surgery. In addition, by spreading less radiation, this technology increases staff safety. The Mini C Arm can also be operated by a trained nurse, which is convenient when it is necessary to use it outside of regular hours when radiology staff is less available. By facilitating the surgical workflow, this device will help optimize all daytime operations, allowing more patients to be treated.
