The Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation is proud to announce that our first virtual event was a success! Thanks to the 350 tickets sold, the sponsors and the donors, we are happy to have succeeded in generating $30,000 in profits!
Thank you to the people who virtually attended on Saturday night. Participants who were not able to view the show last Saturday will be able to watch the recording of the show for 7 days on an unlimited basis. Proceeds from this event will be used to purchase new equipment for the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital.
Katherine Levac, Dominique & Martin and Pierre Hébert were in great shape on Saturday night! Virtual shows allow them to continue to have contact with the stage and to test new numbers to be ready for the deconfinement. Furthermore, the theatre managers and technician provided a great recording atmosphere to the delight of the artists. It was a great evening of entertainment for the participants in their living rooms as well as for the artists on stage.
This benefit event was made possible thanks to the wonderful team of the Théâtre des Tournesols of Cowansville. Theatre owner, Mr. Goyette, set up a full functioning recording studio in the theatre hall at the beginning of the pandemic to be able to offer virtual shows. This structure allowed the quick and efficient realization of this fundraising show. A first for the BMP Foundation!
The BMP Foundation was pleased to collaborate with a Cowansville company and the entire team hopes to repeat the experience soon, this time addressing both the English and French speaking public.
Together, we can improve the health and well-being of our community!
