The BMP Hospital has its new orthopedic clinic
The new orthepedic clinic welcomed its first patients on March 10th. The inauguration was scheduled to be a few days later, because of the pandemic it has been postponed. Larger, brighter, and better equipped, the new Bombardier-Beaudoin Orthopedic Clinic is greatly appreciated by both staff and patients. And, furthermore, it’s magnificent, as you can see
More space, privacy and infection control, patients who have undergone surgery or have urgent needs can be treated here right now during the pandemic, something that would have not have been possible in the old basement clinic
“The opening of this vast and modern orthopedic clinic will allow the specialists and the clinical team to continue to offer high-quality care in an environment that is much better adapted to the needs of the patients,” says Robin-Marie Coleman, President and Assistant Executive Director of the CIUSSS – Estrie – CHUS.
Behind the dream that has come true, there is a considerable financial contribution
A total of $2.5 million, including $1.35 million from the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation, was injected into redevelopment work and equipment purchases.
”It is also important to note “the exceptional contribution of our major donors to this project, particularly the J. Armand Bombardier Foundation, the Beaudoin Family, the Pathy Family, KDC-ONE, Desjardins and all of our generous donors“, explains Mr. Mario Lagimonière, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the BMP Hospital Foundation.
The Co-Chairs of the capital campaign, Catharie Béchamp, Elaine Beaudoin, Jeremy Fontana and François Marziali, as well as the members of the campaign cabinet join the entire BMP Foundation Team in thanking those who supported the project. The redevelopment of the clinic is the first completed objective of the campaign. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your generosity and your support.
We hope that you and your family are doing well. We also hope that your businesses will recover quickly from this pandemic. We are a resilient and caring community.
We look forward to seeing you again soon.
“Our family is proud to have been part of the success of the BMP Foundation’s “Rise” campaign. The BMP Hospital is a great asset to our community. Together we have risen to help maintain a hospital of exceptional quality”.
Co-chair of the major campaign
“Our clinic will be able to accommodate 15,000 patients per year in a pleasant and functional environment. It will also attract new specialists and expertise and contribute to the development of innovative nursing practices. This is the result of nearly four years of teamwork of which we are very proud. On behalf of our outstanding orthopedic team, I would like to reiterate our deepest gratitude to all our donors.”
