The Canadian Union of Postal Workers is currently on strike and Canada Post has halted the delivery of letter mail and parcels until further notice. Furthermore, some post offices will be closed, no new items will be sent out until the national strike is over, and service guarantees have been suspended for items that have already been sent out.

The Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation recognizes that the situation may impact our donors who typically make a donation by cheque via mail. With the delivery of mail to our offices currently suspended, we are encouraging the population to use the following alternative methods to ensure that their donation reaches us:

Please note that all tax receipts for donations of $20 or more will be issued by e-mail.

Despite these changes, the BMP Foundation thanks you for your continuous support and commitment to improving healthcare in Brome-Missisquoi!

We will be there to assist you in any way that we can during this time, and we will provide any necessary updates as the situation evolves.

For more information or for any questions on how to donate, please contact us at 450-266-5548.

The BMP Hospital Auxiliaries Boutique is looking for volunteers to help with their mission to support the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital!

Opened in 1955 by volunteers from the Brome-Missisquoi region, the BMP Hospital Auxiliaries Boutique is located in the hospital lobby where it sells a variety of products, including clothing, books, decorations, gift ideas, snacks, and more. The volunteers who coordinate the Boutique also organize their own fundraisers for special occasions.

The best part? All the money raised goes toward purchasing equipment and other items for the hospital to better serve the community. Since 1954, the BMP Hospital Auxiliaries Boutique has contributed a cumulative amount of over $800,000 for pertinent projects at the BMP Hospital – an incredible feat!

Recently, the BMP Hospital Auxiliaries Boutique and the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Foundation joined forces to help achieve their goal of ensuring access to modern and quality healthcare at the BMP Hospital and in the region of Brome-Missisquoi.

Becoming a volunteer at the Boutique requires time, dedication, and a sense of responsibility toward the hospital and its users.

Are you someone who:

  • Enjoys serving the public?
  • Is organized?
  • Enjoys working in a team?
  • Has free time to commit to a regular volunteer schedule?
  • That is comfortable working with a cash register?
  • Is willing to serve their community?

If so, please contact Nicole Arbour, volunteer manager of the BMP Hospital Auxiliaries Boutique, at 450-266-5548.
