BMP Brunch
The BMP Brunch is officially here!
The BMP Foundation, in collaboration with the Auberge West Brome and the Knowlton Lions Club, are ecstatic to be hosting the 35th edition of its annual brunch.
The proceeds from this year’s event will help us purchase vital sign monitors for the specialized outpatient clinics and day medicine at the BMP Hospital, an investment that is valued at $27,000. Currently, there is only one vital sign monitor available for seven consultation rooms, and there are not enough monitors to cover the procedure rooms and day care facilities. The goal is to equip each consultation room with a wall-mounted vital signs monitor and to increase the number of mobile vital signs devices to help improve the efficiency of care, the workflow for the nursing staff, and to support the increase in day medicine and operating room use.

An event rooted in our history
Created in 1988 by Mr. George Bristol, the BMP Brunch began as a small spaghetti-dinner to raise money for the BMP Hospital. Over the past 35 years, the BMP Brunch has evolved into a not-to-be-missed event, bringing together some 300 guests. It’s also a chance for participants to meet their elected representatives. Whether cutting the roast beef or serving water at the tables, the region’s mayors are happy to take the time to chat with Brome-Missisquoi citizens.
In honor of Mr. Bristol, the BMP Foundation has presented the George Bristol Award since 2016 with the goal of promoting, developing, and recognizing the exceptional and sustained commitment of men and women who volunteer tirelessly with the well-being of the BMP Foundation and BMP Hospital community in mind.
