A MAJOR AND ESSENTIAL PROJECT
FOR OUR COMMUNITY
Redesign of the Medical Imaging Department (Radiology)
2024-2026

IMAGINE A RENEWED DEPARTMENT
The facilities and equipment of the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hopital Medical Imaging department must be modernized to improve the fluidity of the service and the user experience.
Once completed, this redesign will allow the BMP Hospital to improve the following:

STÉPHANIE DAVENPORT, head of Department
To maintain the excellent level of care given at BMP Hospital, we need to seize the opportunity to redesign and modernize our Medical Imaging Department. This will do for faster healthcare services that are safer and more efficient. The project includes the replacement of our radiography equipment, the creation of top-of-the-art ultrasound room, and the inclusion of adapted disability-friendly spaces. Thanks to you, our community will benefit from worldclass Medical Imagery services.
ÉTIENNE BLAIN-PARÉ, MD CM, FRCPC
Medical Imaging is a cornerstone of our hospital. It is present and essential in all our hospital’s departments: E.R., Intensive Care, Operating Room, and Orthopedics. Thanks to the images produced by our department, our doctors can diagnose, treat accurately, and follow patients in a non-invasive way. Quick and precise diagnosis are crucial for patient care. This project will help reduce delays, improve patient experience, and insure optimal work conditions for our teams.
CATHARIE BÉCHAMP, cancer survivor
Thanks to a competent emergency team and a state-of-the-art equipment, I was diagnosed with cancer in its very early stage. This strengthened my belief that our community needs a proximity hospital that offers quality healthcare. These last thirty years, the BMP Foundation has ceaselessly contributed to improving and bettering healthcare at BMP. Please generously help your hospital because every donation to the Foundation helps preserving and developing quality proximity healthcare services to our community.

NEW UPDATE ON PHASE 5 OF THE PROJECT: A modernized mammography machine with advanced technology
The BMP Foundation is proud to announce that a new mammography machine has been installed in the Medical Imaging Department! The mammography machine is officially in service and marks an important step in improving healthcare services for the prevention and treament of cancer in Brome-Missisquoi.
This project would not have been possible without our collaborator the Yamaska Valley Optimist Club, whom raised over $200,000 for the purchase of the new mammography machine through the 24th edition of the Walk to Fight All Cancers.
Philippe Préville
Director of Information Resources and Technology (DRIT) – Centre intégré universitaire de santé et de services sociaux de l’Estrie – Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke (CIUSSS de l’Estrie CHUS)
This achievement is a concrete example of the impact of the BMP Foundation. l have had the privilege of working with the Foundation’s colleagues for two years now, and I have been able to see the scope and quality of their work. They mobilize, they inspire, and above all, they transform your generosity into concrete projects that change lives.
