The Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation is pleased to announce that Dr. Mathieu Gaudet is back with a concert to benefit healthcare in our region! After a sold-out performance in 2022, Dr. Gaudet has decided to return to the stage of the Théâtre de Lac-Brome on Sunday, June 2nd, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. It’s a rendez-vous for all classical music fans in the Brome-Missisquoi region! Tickets cost $55 and are available directly from the theater’s website: www.theatrelacbrome.ca or by calling (450) 242-2270 or by clicking directly on the “PARTICIPATE” button!

A passionate pianist, Dr. Mathieu Gaudet has a remarkable career as a soloist, chamber musician and conductor. Over the past twenty years, he has performed a vast repertoire that has taken him to all ten Canadian provinces, the United States, Europe and Asia. His concerts and recordings are regularly broadcast on Radio-Canada and CBC. Mathieu Gaudet is currently recording the complete piano music of Schubert for the Analekta label, a project acclaimed by critics and music lovers alike.

Dr. Gaudet holds grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec and the Fondation Musicaction. Recognized by his peers, his debut album “Le premier romantique” was nominated for best classical solo or small ensemble album at the ADISQ 2020 gala. His third album, “La force du destin”, was selected for the 2021 ADISQ gala. On June 2nd, Dr. Gaudet will delight our ears with a number of sonatas and creations by Franz Schubert and Keiko Devaux.

The BMP Foundation would like to thank Dr. Gaudet for once again agreeing to perform this concert in aid of Brome-Missisquoi healthcare!
