An evening of music in support of local healthcare

The BMP Foundation is pleased to announce a new benefit concert featuring renowned local musician Dr. Mathieu Gaudet. Following his outstanding performance in 2024, Dr. Gaudet will return to the stage at the Théâtre Lac-Brome to help support healthcare services in our community.

An accomplished pianist, Dr. Gaudet enjoys a distinguished career as a soloist, chamber musician, and conductor. Known for his extensive repertoire, his performances and recordings are regularly broadcast on Radio-Canada and CBC. Widely respected by his peers, three of his albums have received ADISQ Award nominations.

This is a must-attend event for classical music lovers throughout the Brome-Missisquoi region. Tickets are available for $62 through the theatre’s website, by phone at 450-242-2270, or by clicking the “Register” button.

A recipient of grants from the Canada Council for the Arts, the Conseil des arts et des lettres du Québec, and the Musicaction Foundation, Dr. Gaudet has earned significant recognition throughout his career. His debut album, Le premier romantique, was nominated for Classical Album of the Year (Solo Artist or Small Ensemble) at the 2020 ADISQ Awards. His third album, La force du destin, was also selected as a finalist at the 2021 ADISQ Awards.

For his November 1 performance, Dr. Gaudet will highlight two central pillars of his artistic journey: the music of Johann Sebastian Bach, which he is preparing to record over the next six years, and the music of the early Romantic period, represented by the works of Franz Schubert and Frédéric Chopin.

The BMP Foundation extends its sincere thanks to Dr. Gaudet for once again donating his talent and time in support of healthcare in Brome-Missisquoi.
