Organize a fundraiser
The Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation is pleased to have a very active and involved community. In addition to the BMP Foundation’s major recurring events, people also organize for their Hospital!
A race, an exhibition or a competition? All these activities can become fundraising events for the BMP Hospital Foundation. Feel free to contact us if you would like to support your Hospital by organizing a fundraising activity:

The “Garde-Malade”
The Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation, the West Shefford Brewing Company and the Edgar Hyperlodge is a great story of friendship and support. In 2016, the owners of the West Shefford Brewing Company, Martin Proulx and Nicolas Robillard, decided to take concrete action to contribute to the improvements at the BMP Hospital by creating the blond beer “Garde-Malade”. This delicious hopped drink will be served at the Edgar Hyperlodge restaurant but also at tournaments and events. Proceeds from the sale of the “Garde-Malade” go directly to the BMP Foundation and are invested in the Birth Pavilion.
Thanks to this initiative, the BMP Hospital Foundation has received a generous $15,424 since the sale of the “Garde-Malade” began! Thank you!
Giving your time
In addition to the “Garde-Malade”, the owners of the West-Shefford Brewing Company and the Edgar Hyperlodge are also present at many BMP Foundation events. As participants, but also as volunteers! These people of heart do not hesitate to get involved in their community and are present on several BMP Foundation Committees. Thank you to them!
Mobilization from Rona stores
In September 2020, Rona stores in Bromont and Knowlton rallied for the BMP Foundation. Thanks to the commitment of all the employees and customers of these stores, the “Heroes of Lowe’s” campaign was a huge success!
In addition to offering each customer the opportunity to contribute to their campaign with a $2, $5 or $10 donation, their head office Lowe’s Canada committed to donating 50% of all funds raised. The BMP Foundation was incredibly touched to discover that many clients decided to participate for the good of their BMP Hospital. The Rona store in the Town of Knowlton raised $3,587.32 and the Rona store in Bromont raised $4,775.19 for a total of $8,362.51!
Thank you to all the employees of both stores and to all the donors! THANK YOU!
Auto-Expo
The Cowansville Auto-Expo event was created in 2002 by three car enthusiasts, Richard Buzzell, Luc Courville and Denis Gorham. Since 2005, they have decided to donate the profits from the event to the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation. The gathering of car enthusiasts takes place in the Walmart parking lot at the beginning of June each year. In 2019, the total amount of donations received through this event was $39,697!
The BMP Foundation would like to warmly thank the organizers for their support for so many years. Thank you!
Over the years, the Auto-Expo Cowansville event has become a meeting place for car lovers with more than 500 participants and 4000 visitors who come to admire vintage cars, “Hot Rods” and modified cars. A beautiful family event that always amazes children and adults alike.
The Ottawa Marathon
In May 2019, Mr. Léo Brunelle made the decision to participate in the Ottawa Marathon. In order to highlight this achievement and bring an even greater meaning to his challenge, Mr. Brunelle created a fundraising campaign to support the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation. Upon his return to Quebec, he came to our offices to tell us about this adventure and bring us a cheque for $4,170 raised through his fundraising campaign. Thank you to him for this great initiative!
CrossFit For Life 2018
In June 2018, the CrossFit Bromont Club organized a CrossFit competition to benefit the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hospital Foundation, with more than 60 participants taking up the challenges of the competition on this beautiful day. The event was very lively with draws, a silent auction and make-up for the children.
A total of $4,110 was raised and donated to the BMP Foundation for the improvement of patient services at the BMP Hospital Oncology Clinic.
The BMP Foundation would like to warmly thank all the generous participants of this great event as well as Mrs. Contreras and Mr. Robert. We are blessed to be able to count on the support of people in our community.
