DEPARTMENT

The facilities and equipment of the Brome-Missisquoi-Perkins Hopital Medical
Imaging department must be modernized to improve the fluidity of the service
and the user experience.

Medical Imaging is a cornerstone of our hospital. It is present and essential in all our hospital’s departments: E.R., Intensive Care, Operating Room, and Orthopedics. Thanks to the images produced by our department, our doctors can diagnose, treat accurately, and follow patients in a non-invasive way.

Quick and precise diagnosis are crucial for patient care. This project will help reduce delays, improve patient experience, and insure optimal work conditions for our teams.

AN IMAGE BROUGHT TO LIFE

The reorganization of the department involves :

The redesign of two radiography rooms (including the replacement of the medical equipment); The redesign of two ultrasound rooms; An improved accessibility to the waiting and exam rooms; The addition of an accessible bathroom; The replacement of the stereotactic breast biopsy table; Handwashing stations in the hallway (infection prevention and control); The addition of a recovery room.

Project cost

The total cost of the project, including the redesign of the infrastructure and
the replacement of medical equipment is estimated at $7,468,080.
